HOT 97 gives Christmas gift to boy set on fire by bully

HOT 97’s Ebro in the Morning interview and encourage 13 years old Deandre Bloomfield who was set on fire by a bully in Staten Island.

He was attacked on December 2 inside of the bully’s home as he sprayed cologne on Bloomfield and lit a match.

Bloomfield naturally walks with a limp which hindered him running from the scene and is also the reason the teen has been bullied continuously.

Ursula Allen, Bloomfield’s mother told FOX that the suspect’s mother and sister were in the home during the incident and waited two hours until calling 911 for help.

HOT 97’s Ebro in the Morning morning show spoke with Bloomfield updating their listeners on his status.

Ebro and Rosenberg encouraged him to stay positive, keep laughing, and keep smiling and things will get better.

The radio show gave Bloomfield Drake’s OVO clothing gear as a Christmas gift knowing that he’s a big Drake fan.

He’s been in the hospital for about two weeks and is excepted to return home for the Christmas holiday.

The 13 years old suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
