FINALLY! Drake Reunites with the Cast of Degrassi for the ‘I’m Upset’ Video and Unveils Album Release Date

Drake ignores his current drama and gives fans a surprise Degrassi High School reunion in the I’m Upset video.

Directed by 22-year-old director Karena Evans who also directed ‘Nice For What’ and ‘God’s Plan’ delivered the most nostalgic video that has fans reminiscing about the Canadian teen drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Celebrating the class’ eleven year reunion, Drake who played Jimmy Brooks brought out all of his classmates who played in the original series.

For every Degrassi lover, this is a dream come true.  The gang got together to turn up exactly how we would expect them to. Seeing and remembering the cast caused Twitter to remember all the fun memories we’ve shared in Degrassi High and predicting about what the future would’ve been.

The highlight of the video was when Rick, played by Ephraim Ellis gets chased by a group of Drake’s friends who in the TV show shot Jimmy causing him to be paralyzed in a wheelchair.  It felt like the revenge that we all wanted to see.

The end of the video side by side shows the cast then and now with the theme song igniting people to re-watch the series, so grab your tissues because it’ll make you sad to think about how much time has passed by.

He then took to his Instagram that Scorpion will be released on June 29th.
