India Monee’, The Baddest is a lively personality that has a passion for storytelling.  From the beginning, she knew that she wanted to become a person in the media industry whether it was writing a byline, on camera, or over the air waves.

She found her passion as a child but through attending the best HBCU in the land, Prairie View A&M University, she was able to hone her skills by being the Editor-in-Chief of The Panther Newspaper and a personality on her show “The Downtown Tea” with PV-UKNO Radio. Also while attending PVAMU, she interned with KRBE 104.1 Top 40 Station and KPRC Channel 2 News in Houston, Texas.

With her ambitious and determined girl boss mentality,  she began to expand and create extra avenues for herself. She then launched her blog site which she also named The Downtown Tea covering college advice, lifestyle topics, and entertainment news.  Expanding her digital resume, she established a YouTube channel in which he gives college advice and showed the day in the life of a college student at PVAMU, raw and uncut.

India feels that getting that hands on experience is the most important piece in her career, which is why she describes herself has a go-getter and dream chaser and lives by the saying “believe in your come up.” She’s had the chance to interview celebrities like Mc Lyte, David Banner,  James Harden, Bun B, and Jeff Johnson.

Since obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Communication in May 2017, she has been on a journey to use her talents. She joined the iHeartMedia team in Dallas, Texas in July and then decided to pick up everything and take a chance in the nation’s capital of Washington D.C. Currently she is now apart of Radio One Baltimore team.
