It’s that time of the year where the holidays are poppin’ and you’re reminiscing on your past year to plan for the new year. Looking at my 2017, 10 out of my 12 goals that I wrote down, I’ve accomplished!
So I’ve definitely learned that the power of writing your goals down and manifestation. I’ve been over creating a New Year’s Resolution because it’s hard to stick to them, I usually forget, and honestly it’s just boring. Instead of creating boring New Years Resolutions, make it fun and come up with theme words for the year!
My words for 2018 year are:
With each word, I pared an affirmation to explain how to I want each word to work within my life for the next year.
- I want to flourish in all aspects of life. What I think, plan, and touch, I want to grow to become great.
- Elevating means putting myself in a better position than I was yesterday. Everything that I do will be done with importance and be very impressive.
- This year will be a completely different journey and wherever I go and whatever I do, I want to truly enjoy that moment so that it prepares me for the next. Journey also means travel.
- With whatever I do I want to go in with full confidence. I want to be able to make my own decisions and be confident that whatever I choose is the best decision for me.
You get it? I feel that this exercise is fun and gives more personal depth to the goals that will be made and will hopefully keep you on track of them as well. Coming up with a theme will give more wiggle room for all things that are and are not planned.
As long as you’re sticking with your theme then you should be in great shape to grow within the new year.
Here are some words to get you started on your own list:
